Delivery of Bestevaer 41
Last week, we completed the Bestevaer 41 project for KM Yachtbuilders. This project, carried out on-site in Makkum, showcased the outstanding work of our technician, Remco. He was responsible for installing all the technical systems on board. A unique challenge was the installation of the GPS system in the window, a detail that is rarely seen.
We visited Remco last week to capture photos and videos as he put the finishing touches on the technical aspects. Proudly, he walked us through the yacht, pointing out installations that stood out or presented special challenges.
Take, for example, the electrically extendable toilet—a project that he worked on extensively with KM, dedicating many hours to perfecting it. Other details, such as the finely finished protective plates over the installations or the bow thruster beneath the bed, are also projects he looks back on with pride. When asked what he’s most proud of, he answered, ‘My sealant work on the solar panels is what I’m most proud of. Normally, we’d hire a professional to do the sealing, but this time, I did it all myself. It looks really good!’ And he’s right—the solar panels are impeccably aligned, and the sealant work fits seamlessly.
Thank you, Remco, for your dedication and for delivering the innovative Bestevaer 41! Excellent job!
